Please join us in congratulating Dr. Sarah Titler on her appointment as Division Chief for Pediatric Anesthesia.

Dr. Titler has dedicated her career to advancing pediatric anesthesiology, patient safety, education, and clinical excellence. A graduate of the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, she completed her anesthesia residency at Iowa and a fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesia at the Medical College of Wisconsin Children's Hospital before joining our faculty in 2009. 

Throughout her career, Dr. Titler has served in numerous leadership roles, including Clinical Director of the Operating Room at Stead Family Children’s Hospital, Anesthesia Clinical Services Director, and Interim Chief of Pediatric Anesthesiology. She has been recognized for her commitment to education, and has contributed extensively to pediatric anesthesia research, scholarship, and professional service at the state and national levels. 

Dr. Titler’s outstanding leadership, dedication to children and families, and commitment to mentoring the next generation of anesthesiologists make her exceptionally well suited for this role.
