Chronic pain as a result of tissue injury, caused by diseases or trauma, can be characterized as neuropathic pain.

It is also known by the term chronic pain syndrome (CPS). Damaged nerve fibers send incorrect signals to the brain, and the pain can range from shooting and burning to tingling and numbness.

Because of the varied locations of chronic pain and individuals’ varying levels of pain, our approach to pain management is highly personalized. Pain management specialists and their patients develop a long-term care relationship as adjustments are made over time to manage the patient’s pain most effectively. We work as a multidisciplinary team to address chronic pain concerns.
